election day

     
       Hello, today I will tell about the general elections held at my place. In every 5 years, the Indonesian state has a general election to elect the president, vice president, legislative council and the regional council. At this time the general election was held on April 17, 2019. In the days before the general election there was always talk and debate about the presidential candidates to be elected. Both in cyberspace and in the real world. 1 month before the election my sister was appointed to be the supervisor at the polling station where I chose. But my sister fell ill due to being too tired because she was busy meeting and doing her college assignments so that at each meeting she was sometimes absent but my parents could replace her in attending the meeting.
        In this general election I tend to be inactive with the political situation that occurred at that time. At that time I was too busy to prepare myself for the midterm and do my college assignments. Usually to find out about political developments I read articles on the internet and watch TV in order to find out a little information about current political conditions. I also tried to watch the presidential debate but I always fell asleep while watching it. One day before the general election I was a little confused because I was confused who I should choose for the legislative members. Fortunately my parents showed me who I should vote for during the general election. Then my parents also pointed out the procedures for the general election because this was my first time to take part in elections. During the general election my sister had recovered so she could become a superintendent during the general election. Then my parents and I went to the general election place. Before voting my parents reminded me of who to choose. Then my parents and I went to vote and I voted as my parents ordered. Well that's my story, there's nothing special about the general election this time but I can learn a lot of things and I understand what needs to be done in the next election.

Standing Up for Animals There are two main groups of people today who are against how we treat animals. The first group believes that killing animals is the same as murder. Some believe that people who eat animals should go to prison. They accuse people who wear animal fur or murder and sometimes attack them. They think that all animals should be released from farms and homes and left to go where they want. The bases for their belief is that humans are also animals; they feel that the closer other animals are to humans, the worse it is to eat them.
